I’ve selected the VEVA 8000 Elite Pro Seriesfor my next review because it has an unusual design, making it possible to install both on the floor and tabletop. The manufacturer offers a reasonable coverage area of 325 sq. feet, which is suitable for many living rooms and larger bedrooms.
This air purifier is not one of the top-notch models with numerous smart options. In fact, I’m yet to find any. However, the price tag is more than reasonable, making it a good choice to consider for households with limited budgets or office workers that want something for the desk space or small office.
Let’s go on to find out more about this VEVA air purifier and whether its good value for money.

Filtration System
Let’s start with the filtration system since it’s the most important part of any air purifier. The credo of this model seems to be “nothing extra”. It applies to the filtration system as well.
However, when you think about it, all the extras are often not as necessary as they seem. How often would you use an ionizer? How willing are you to pay more money for extra filters?
This is a low-budget model, which features the two highly necessary filters. Both of them do an excellent job taking care of the most common contaminants in any household or office.
Activated carbon filter – this filter acts as both a pre-filter and a regular carbon filter. It’s a bit thicker than I’m used to in other air purifiers. The filter does an excellent job dealing with heavy kitchen odors and cigarette smoke. It also fights VOCs (volatile organic compounds). You don’t need to wash this filter, but it has to be replaced every two to three months. Four filters come in the box with the air purifier.
True HEPA filter – this powerful filter deals with particles 0.3 microns in diameter, making it an excellent option to fight dander, pollen, dust mites, mold spores, and much more. A HEPA filter is an integral part of any high-quality purifier. This filter needs to be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on the frequency of use, the air quality, and the environment. One true HEPA filter comes in the box.
That’s about it for the filtration system.
I’d like to note that this air purifier doesn’t have a replacement filter indicator. Meaning, you have to figure out when to replace filters on your own.
More often than not, in higher-class air purifiers, the filter replacement indicator isn’t anything more than a timer set for several months. So for this air purifier, all you have to do is create a reminder on your smartphone, which can serve the same purpose.
Once the timer sounds, you can check out how well the filters look. If the black carbon filter turns gray and the white HEPA filter turns black, it’s time to replace both. Make it a habit to check the filters every two to three months.
The replacement filters come in one pack. For a year’s supply (1 TrueHEPA filter + 4 activated carbon filters), you will pay around $18. This is one of the cheapest replacement filter set I’ve ever worked with.
Overall, this air purifier has an excellent filtration system suitable for households and offices.

Design
One of the reasons I’ve chosen the Vevo 8000 is its excellent design. The tower air purifier can be used on both the floor and tabletop. It’s not a large purifier. The dimensions are 9 x 8 x 23 inches. It weighs a little under seven pounds. You can move the unit around your home, placing it into different rooms when necessary.
Now, let’s get back to the transformation options. You can remove the base of this air purifier, put four suction cups on its side, and place it horizontally on any tabletop you prefer. Voila! You’ve got a brand new way to enjoy your air purifier. It’s an excellent approach to saving space in not-so-large rooms and enjoying the effect of the air purification right on your office desk.
The air purifier comes in a sleek black and shiny color, making it easy to fit into any décor, from classical home to high-tech office.
This model is very simple to operate and lacks smart options so it doesn’t come with an LCD display. This was a bonus for me personally since I don’t have to worry about bright lights interfering with my sleep.
On top of the air purifier, you’ll find two levers that regulate the fan speed and turn the air purifier on and off. That’s it.
Smart Options
The air purifier lacks smart options. This didn’t really come as a surprise, considering the price tag of this model. However, it’s always possible to find a purifier within the similar price range but with at least a timer.
The upside of the lack of smart options is operation simplicity. And, as I mentioned earlier, the absence of the large and bright operation panel is great too.
Even though I’m a big fan of smart options, I believe that for a small air purifier, which you can place on your table or desk, they aren’t as demanded as for a large model in your kitchen or basement.
The air purifier is easy to operate. Meanwhile, thanks to its simplicity, the model is more likely to last longer without any breakdowns than its high-tech-packed counterparts are.
Noise Levels
This is hardly the quietest air purifier I’ve ever reviewed. However, I believe it can work well for the majority of users. Its noise levels are as follows:
- 1st fan setting – 45 dB
- 2nd fan setting – 52 dB
- 3rd fan setting – 60 dB
To give you an idea of what it sounds like, 45 dB is similar to the computer working while 60 dB is close to what conversation speech sounds like.
Overall, I wouldn’t use this unit in the bedroom because I’m a terribly light sleeper. However, it’s quiet enough to use during the day without being bothered by the noise.
Coverage Area
This air purifier is not AHAM certified so there is not CADR rating mentioned on the box. Accordingly, I can’t calculate whether or not the manufacturer is telling the truth about the coverage area.
The suggested coverage area for this unit is 325 sq. feet. I believe that an air purifier this size may have a tough time working well in such a large room. I would suggest using it in rooms up to about 200 square feet.
The air purifier is ETL certified, which means it complies with North American safety standards.

Warranty
This unit comes with a solid 2-year warranty and lifetime support. For such a cheap model, a two-year warranty sounds excellent.
Pros:- Low unit and filter price
- Versatile design (tabletop and floor installation)
- Excellent filtration system
- Simple operation
- Lightweight and small
- No smart options
- Too loud for light sleepers
VEVA 8000 Elite Pro Series Air Purifier Review Conclusion
I liked the way this air purifier did its job. It has a powerful filtration system and an excellent design. Even though this unit lacks smart options, it comes with a nice price tag.
I would recommend this model to all homeowners and office workers, who need a high-quality air purifier for a reasonable price.
