I’ve decided to review this air purifier because I liked the design coupled with a powerful 4-stage filtration system. The manufacturer claims quiet operation and a coverage of up to 240 square feet. The air purifier is compact and light so you can move it from one room to another.

While it’s not in a low-price segment, if this model turns out all the manufacturer claims it to be, it seems to be worth the price. Let’s look a little closer at what this air purifier has to offer.

Filtration System

This air purifier has an advanced 4-stage filtration system, which makes it suitable for any room in the house, including the kitchen.

Pre-filter – the pre-filter is designed to keep large contaminated particles from getting through to the other filters in the air purifier. It’s easy to remove and wash manually. Depending on how often you use the purifier, consider washing the pre-filter once every three to four months.

Activated carbon filter – this filter takes care of VOCs (volatile organic compounds), odors (especially pet odors), and smoke. It does an excellent job cleaning the air in the kitchen or in rooms where people smoke. This filter comes as part of the filter package that costs about $16.

TrueHEPA filter – this filter eliminates 99.97% of contaminants 0.3 microns in diameter. It’s a powerful filter that takes care of the majority of harmful particles in the air you breathe. This filter is an integral part of any high-quality air purifier. You can choose to install a HEPA filter with an antibacterial layer to remove harmful bacteria.

Net filter – net filter uses activated charcoal to give another layer of protection. It takes care of odors and smoke, helping the activated carbon filter do its job. It’s also part of the $16 filter package.

If you use the air purifier regularly, you need to replace filters every 6 months. The model is equipped with a filter replacement indicator so you don’t have to worry about monitoring its quality. As soon as the button lights up, it’s time to replace filters. The annual cost of this purifier’s maintenance is about $32.

 Design

This air purifier has a sleek design. The cylindrical shape makes it easy to fit in any part of the room or even on the table. The dimensions are 8.5 x 8.5 x 14.25 inches. The weight is a little under 8 pounds.

The control panel is straightforward and easy to use, and all buttons are labeled for simple operation. You can choose from 7 different colors.

Smart Options & Features

This air purifier has a nice set of smart options and features. They include:

Sleep mode – dims the light and reduces the fan speed to a minimum.

Timer – allows you to set the time to turn off the air purifier (2, 4, and 8 hours).

Lock – locks the control panel so children can’t change the settings.

Light – lets you regulate the light so it doesn’t interfere with sleeping or working.

Filter replacement indicator – lights up when the filter needs to be replaced.

Noise Levels

The air purifier has three fan speeds. Each one comes with its own noise level:

Even at the highest speed, the fan shouldn’t interfere with your everyday activities. For the night, you can use the sleep mode or simply switch to the lowest fan speed. 26dB is close to the sound of rustling leaves so even if you are a light sleeper like me, the purifier won’t wake you up.

Coverage Area

How big of a room can this unit purify? The manufacturer claims the maximum room size to be 240 square feet. Let’s look at the CADR numbers.

When we use the simple formula (CADR x 1.5), we can see that the maximum room size for this air purifier is 150 square feet. While it’s possible to keep larger rooms clean, it will take a while longer.  I would recommend using this air purifier in rooms up to 200 square feet.
